Local Spotlight: Eve + Enoch

Today I'm featuring one of my favorite local designers: Jessilyn Poole from EVE + ENOCH! I first met Jessilyn and her sister Megan (now a partner in her business) back in 2011 at an Edmonton fashion design contest when she was just 20 years old, fresh out of college (she went to Marvel) and having recently started her label only a couple months before. After seeing the Sherwood Park resident's cute and contemporary dresses at the event, I remember thinking to myself, "I would totally wear her clothing!" Fast forward four years later and the EVE + ENOCH brand is now available to the masses online, at Bamboo Ballroom and J. Lea Fashion House opening this fall in Windermere. What I'm Loving Lately

Shortalls (also known as short overalls), like these comfy and cute ones Jules is wearing are a big trend this summer and I'm so glad they've made a comeback! I haven't worn overalls since the 10th grade and that was back in the nineties. (I'm old.) P.S. This pair is on sale ; )

The Perfect Hoodie

Summer is officially here and I have found THE perfect hoodie to wear while sitting by the campfire at the lake or at a music festival once the sun goes down and the temperature gets cool. You can get these comfy, over-sized sweaters from jollychic and they come in green and black. Don't they look cozy?? And the best part? They're under $40.00!

Mexico Travel Diary

I'm sorry I took a little hiatus from the blog! I have a good excuse for not posting though, I was on my honeymoon in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico ; ). It was a very late honeymoon (we got married last September) but better late than never! We decided to go to Cabo because we heard it was absolutely beautiful there and we'd never been before. I wanted the weather to be perfect and it didn't disappoint - there was no rain and we enjoyed clear blue skies and the hot sun every day. It was also a short flight to get there (less than 5 hours)! I took a ton of pictures and wanted to share some with you guys!
