What I'm Loving Lately

Shortalls (also known as short overalls), like these comfy and cute ones Jules is wearing are a big trend this summer and I'm so glad they've made a comeback! I haven't worn overalls since the 10th grade and that was back in the nineties. (I'm old.) P.S. This pair is on sale ; )

I know I rant and rave about coconut oil all the time on this blog (been doin' it since 2011!) but only recently have I been adding two scoops to my bath at night so my skin can soak it all in. I have to say it's way less greasy than slathering it on after the bath when you're dry and it moisturizes like no other product I've tried. BUT the downside is that it makes the tub real slippery so be VERY careful stepping out of it and getting into it the next day! Or you may have to call an ambulance.

MAKEUP FOREVER'S Artist Plexi-Gloss Lip Glosses. These JUST came out! I tried #104 in brown/beige and the color payoff is amazing and it lasts for hours at a time. I also love the applicator which is very flexible (it bends!) And don't get me started on the glossy finish - PERFECTION!

These books! Big Little Lies and The Girl On The Train are perfect beach reads. If you enjoyed Gone Girl, you'll love these page-turners, too. If you have any recommendations on what I should delve into next this summer please let me know in the comment section below!

I'm a sucker for fascinating, thought-provoking documentaries and I watched both of these award-winning films last weekend on Netflix. Highly recommended. Especially if you're a woman. #girlpower

I love using coconut oil for my hair - I rub it into my ends and let it sit for about 20 minutes before washing my hair. Works like a charm! Also, I loved The Girl on the Train and am waiting to read Big Little Lies. Page turners are the best!
