Southgate Featured Blogger: Dressing for the Workplace

blazer - thrifted at Value Village, cropped pants - GAP,
scarf + jewelry - H & M,  shoes - Aldo, bag - Christopher Kon
photo's by the admirable Harvey Miedreich

I'm so excited to be featured on Southgate Center's website today! Southgate is the mall I shop at frequently since it's in walking distance from my house and because they have a Zara, Sephora, MAC and Aldo. (Heaven!) But have I ever actually walked to the mall? Well, no. But that's because I usually need the space in my car to hold all the bags full of everything I purchase when I shop there ; ). Anyways, they asked me to write a little article on dressing for the workplace. To read the post and see more pics you can click here. I hope you like it! And if you want to, I'd love to hear what your dress code is at work and how you dress for the office, if you work in one. Just leave a comment below.

I hope you have a great weekend. Canadians: don't forget to enter my Jason Wu for Target Giveaway here. Winner will be announced soon!

  5. Gorgeous, as per usual! Congrats on your feature! That's super cool. I would lose my shit if I was walking distance from a Zara and Sephora. Lose it, I say.

  9. haha, south gate is totally my mall of choice too since it has almost everything i love (if it would just get an h&m, old navy, and urban outfitters i would be set for life).

my upcoming job as an instructor doesn't really have a dress code that i'm aware of but since i'm so tiny and young looking (and the same age as my 'students') i'm going to dress sophisticated to maintain a sense of authority. (while maintaining my style)

maybe navy high waisted trousers with a shirt tucked in and a bright blazer (once i find one) and simple black pumps.

  24. Dressing for the office... The ultimate challenge for ever fashionista, for sure! You did a beautiful job of it in this look, though - that jacket is fabulous! I try my best to stay elegant while not sticking out like a sore thumb in a mostly male office. Definitely a challenge on the best days!
