Fringe

top and purse- H&M, shorts - Zara, sandals - F21, jewelry - H&M and Aldo

First I want to say I hope you weren't blinded by my Edward Cullen-esque pasty, white vampire skin while looking at these photos. If you were, I apologize profusely. Did you all have a good weekend? I thoroughly enjoyed mine, mostly because we experienced hot weather and beautiful sunshine during the day which has been very rare this summer. Seriously, I feel like summer has just begun because we've had so much rain up until now. The sad thing is is that in two months from now it's highly probable we will see snow on the ground. (O Canada!) Ugh, don't even want to think about it! So I won't.

I wore this outfit Saturday night to walk around Whyte Avenue and The Fringe Theatre Festival with D. The streets were packed with people, which made it difficult to maneuver in and out of the crowds without stepping on someone or getting a sweaty, hairy arm-pit in the face but we still had fun people-watching and browsing through the little markets set up for the event. I could have sworn I saw Zach Galifinakis from 'The Hangover' movies in the crowd and I learned yesterday  in our local paper that it actually was him - his girlfriend is from Edmonton and he was there to take in a show!  If I knew for sure Zach Galifinakis and his beard were in my presence I would have asked to get a picture with him or at least stalk him for a little bit. Ah well....Maybe next time?

This might be one of my all time favorite looks of yours - so chic and casual elegant! And that's really funny about Zach Galifinakis, what a good celebrity sighting. I saw Stephen Colbert in NYC this weekend but that's not as good as Galifinakis.

You look fab, Marie! Edward would be proud and I mean that sincerely because I have a massive crush on him. Truth.

I love The Fringe. So many interesting cats out and about. Too bad you didn't know for sure it was Zach--that would have been an awesome pic. Unless he had sweaty pits.

your fringe is SO CUTE! I could never pull that off. I look a little silly with bangs haha. Anyway I'm surprised to hear "fringe" it such an british english word ;) Great outfit! It's quite nippy in the UK too. The weather is hit and miss... better than being in boiling 36 degrees in Tokyo I say!
