Arizonahhhh

Our private pool in Phoenix

My little backyard friend-without-a-tail

I turned this H & M skirt into a dress. It kept me cool in the 35 degree weather!
I think some people thought I was pregnant though. I was getting funny looks at Walmart.

Beautiful Sedona

 Gorgeous, right?

I know this photo is on the verge of being cheesy (or it's already there) but I swear we didn't plan this pose, this was the only decent photo of the two of us!

That's my mom! This dress is from Charlotte Russe. I got it in Vegas a couple of years ago.

We climbed a hill in Sedona and this was our view - Nicolas Cage's vacation home.
Do you see his hair piece floating in the pool? Look closely. I kid, I kid!

At the top of the hill was this absolutely beautiful and peaceful church. All churches are peaceful but this one was extra calming. Can you imagine coming here every Sunday? Look at that breathtaking view! Even an atheist would enjoy a service here!

Yup, this veggie quesadilla was as good as it looks.
We ate mostly Mexican food while we were in the states because it's so good down there!

Getting ready to go to the airport. Wish I could have stayed longer....
My top is from Target which is one of my new favorite stores! I LOVED IT!

I had a wonderful time in Arizona. The weather was beautiful - 32-38 degrees Canadian every day - so we spent a lot of time relaxing and cooling off by the pool. The people were extremely friendly, the views outstanding, the food was delicious and the shopping unreal! I can't wait to show you my finds in my upcoming posts!

I hope you all had a great week!

OMG. My heart is beating faster. My palms are sweaty. I LOVE ARIZONA. I logged onto my computer just so I could comment on your post.

It's beautiful. Amazing. The heat is wonderful. So is the scenery. Sedona is lovely, but the thing I hate about it is that everything shuts down SO early. Did you find that too? Also, did you see a lot of little backyard friends? I'm curious, because one of my friends lived in Arizona for a summer and she said the place was swarming with them. Covering entire parking lots and whatnot. That seems a bit excessive, but I've only been there in the winters really, so who knows...

Oh how I wish I was there right now. I'm excited to see the rest of your posts! Also, glad you had a safe trip!

Ashley: Ha ha, you're too funny! We took a day trip to Sedona, and then Jerome so we were only there in the afternoon...That's too bad everything shuts down so early! Maybe because there are a lot of retired people there and they go to bed early??? ha

We saw at least two gecko's every day in the backyard. They mostly stuck to the wall of the fence but a couple were crawling around by the pool and it kind of freaked me out!
