The Climb

coat - Old Navy   shirt - Guess    jeggings - H & M    shoes - Spring    bag - Army & Navy    necklace & ring - F21

Happy Tuesday-at-least-it"s-not-Monday! This is what I wore last Saturday to go to a Stagette/Bachelorette Party for my friend Les who got engaged last month, is getting married this weekend and moving to New Jersey in a few weeks. (She doesn't mess around!) It was hard deciding what to wear because we were going rock climbing first and out for dinner and drinks afterward. I settled on this outfit and brought my exercise clothes to change into. Rock climbing was a lot of fun but man it isn't easy! I used muscles in my arms I never even knew I had! And I found out that although I may have strong abs and legs from dance, pilates and yoga, I am an embarrassing weakling in the upper body region. I am still sore three days later and am in serious need of a deep tissue massage. And new arms.

On a different  note, please keep the people of Japan in your thoughts and prayers. The devastation is incredibly sad. It's extremely scary to think about what else Mother Nature has in store for us. I shudder at the thought.

I'm so jealous that you went rock climbing - I love rock climbing! On another note, this jacket is absolutely stunning - what a great find, you look so stylish in it.

Ohhh rock climbing sounds like fun!! I love your jacket and necklace :) And I love that you got your bag from army&navy, you can definitely find some cute things there from time to time.

Everything going on in Japan has me really freaked out, it's so sad. I can't even imagine what they're going through :( Makes our winters look like a breeze huh?

Happy Tuesday-at-least-it"s-not-Monday! YES. That's exactly how I felt today. Tuesday wasn't much better than Monday, but at least it was Tuesday.

Hey, I'm weak in the arm area too. I don't know why. I used to be able to do chin-ups like a mother trucker, and then all of a sudden POOF. Nothing. No arm muscles at all. I feel like I should work on toning them up, but I have no idea how...

I like your bun!

I can't believe your coat is from Old Navy! When I first saw it I thought it was Club Monaco or maybe Zara... great purchase, lovely!

And Japan is definitely in my thoughts-- I can't believe what those poor people have been put through. It's incredibly sad and unfair, and it really puts things in perspective...

Looking good, as usual. But how come no-one told you that you aren't supposed to use your arms that much when rock-climbing? You should have kicked butt with your strong legs and flexibility, those are the real keys to rock-climbing! Oh well, at least you had fun. Ha, I just had a funny picture in my head of trying to climb with my bump... that would be hilarious/impossible!
