H & M Overload

Looking at my hyper-extended leg in this pic reminds me of that scene from 'Black Swan' where Nina's legs start to break backwards lol. Just had to mention that.

 faux fur coat/top/bag/bracelet/black stone ring - H & M   pants - Zara   boots - Spring  headband - asos   cross - vintage

I didn't realize how much H & M I was wearing until I started typing this post! It's my favorite store so I guess it's expected! I got this faux fur coat two season's ago for $50.00 and it's a wardrobe staple I know I'll keep forever although I don't wear it very often which has got to change. I'm not sure what took me so long to purchase the asos headband I'm wearing in these photos, it's so practical yet stylish and spices up any winter outfit. As you can see, there's no Spring in sight where I live, it's still chilly with a ton of snow covering the ground. That's Canada for you! I expect the snow will start to melt in April. Ugh.

So this past weekend was a long weekend for me because our province has a national holiday called "Family Day" the third week in February so D. and I went out to my family's cabin on Sunday to spend time with my parents. My mom and dad insisted I bring Kitty out since they miss her. Below is the only picture I took at the cabin.

She was going crazy for the birds outside! There was a huge crow I wish I would have snapped a photo of, it was like a gigantic rodent with wings. We'd never seen such a large bird before, it was nuts.

Oh and those of you who follow me on Twitter know that I saw Justin Bieber's film "Never Say Never" in 3D on Saturday and LOVED IT! Seriously, it was a fantastic, inspiring movie. That kid is super talented and even though I'm not a fan of his music (which may change in the future) I still enjoyed it. It's true - I caught Bieber fever and I heard there's no cure!! Whaaaat?

Have a great week!

The Black Swan reference just made me cringe - aaah, craziness!

How fun is that coat - so cozy & vintage looking!

I totally understand about the over extended legs. Mine do that too and it drives me crazy (it DOES look like some wack-o bird leg...on me anyway) However YOU are thin and fabulous so you don't really notice it. My legs are, ahem, thicker so it's really unflattering!!! LOL

I'm so glad there is another blogger who experiences the same climate as me. Yup, snow won't start to melt until April. Maybe March if we're lucky? I remember last year, we never got ANY snow in March and had a fantastic, early spring. It was like living some place normal!

Lovely outfit! I love the peek of skin showing between your top and bottoms (not like I'm a perv, but I think it's sassy!). That's a cool headband, too...it looks warm AND stylish!

P.S. Yes, 21 is the legal drinking age here. I don't drink much anymore so it's really not a big deal, but still...it'll be weird to FINALLY be over that hump. Now I don't need to have any more birthdays. Ever. I'll just be 21 for the rest of my life.
