Yesterday I woke up craving carbs. French toast to be exact. So D. and I went for a late brunch at a restaurant a few blocks away from our house. This is what I wore. Unfortunately it started raining as soon as we stepped outside (boo) so we quickly took some pics and were on our way. I'm trying to get a lot of use out of this jacket because I know it's just a matter of days when I'll have to switch to a warmer Winter coat and put this baby away in my closet to hibernate until the Spring. Anyways, during brunch I had three huge, delicious pieces of french toast topped with fresh strawberries, icing sugar and loads of maple syrup and I ate it ALL. With a smile on my face. Except tonight I'm going to Yoga ; ).
I hope you all had a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend! Has anyone started their Christmas shopping yet? I plan to this week!

This is a great outfit! Love the sweater, need something like that to go with my leggings (love leggings). But I went into H&M today and it was too crowded as usual, hate that! French toast... yum :-)

Kara: I know! The weather has been really weird this Fall. We usually have snow all through November but it only snowed once! I'm hoping maybe we won't have any snow this year? Ha, wishful thinking!

I've been so impressed with the weather in Edmonton this month - I'm used to it being much colder here in November. I'm leaving on Wednesday for New Haven and the grind but I loved being able to spend a whole month here (and I'm thrilled that the climate cooperated)!

Breakfast sounds scrummy, I'm generally too lazy to eat before I go to work during the week so at the weekend I like to make a huge occasion out of preparing and eating a big breakfast! :)
