Zing

blouse - ONLY from Etzio, pants and pendant - H & M, boots - Spring, bag - Miche, rings - Aldo

Look closely. Do you see that? The snow is melting! And the sun is out! Finally. After a cold and unusually long winter I think spring has actually sprung! Now I know that the majority of you reading this post have been experiencing beautiful spring weather for awhile now but I live in Canada, remember? Spring decides to poke its little head out much later than normal here. And even then we can still receive a random unwelcome dump of snow in April, May or June. Or July. Or August. (Yes, really.) But I’m hoping and praying this winter is over and I can rid my closet of my Uggs and bulky, heavy jackets and replace them with open-toed heels and maxi skirts. Fingers crossed.

This is what I wore Saturday night to the annual ‘Spring Zinger’ D. and I attend which is a fundraiser and silent auction for the Royal Glenora Childcare Society that our friends (and their young son) are a part of. It was really casual so I decided to wear a blouse with my go-to black pants from H & M. I kind of regret wearing such tight pants to an event our Mayor attended but oh well. At least I wasn’t the drunk chick yelling out requests to the ukulele cover band that was playing! Speaking of ukulele bands The BeArthurs rocked it out that night. You should check them out because they will be famous one day and you can say, “oh yeah, those were the guys Marie a la Mode was talking about!” I went to theatre school with two of the band members and they are so talented, they ooze talent. We had a great time and ended the evening with a late night run to McDonald’s for greasy fries. Yummy.

I hope you're all having a good week!

Hoorah for spring at long last! Our snow is pretty much all gone now (except in very shady/wooded areas) and I couldn't be happier! Now we just need the temps to go up a bit, and we'll be in full spring time mode! Love your bag, such a rich color!

It's getting better in Toronto, too! No more snow, just rain (which I hate more than the snow). Today is 13 degrees, woop woop!

I love the blush tone blouse. So versatile and it looks great against your blond hair :)

I am so happy it's spring. Waking up to see less and less snow everyday is definitely something to smile about.
I love this blouse! And I shall have to check those guys out, they sounds interesting. I've heard the name before I'm pretty sure

Hooray for green grass!! You are looking fit and fab my dear. And nope those cats are not from the farm. They were wild and living under my house in LA. I moved in and adopted them...8 years later I can pet and pick up one and the other has just started to be my bff.

I thought the same when I saw your cat! Twins!

You look gorgeous! Just saw your blog via Pop Champagne. Also, is it really possible for it to snow in JULY? or AUGUST?? That is the most terrifying thought I've ever heard.
