When I was in theatre school, we had to act like colors in one of our movement classes. (And yes, it felt ridiculous at the time.) Our teacher would yell out, "Move like the color yellow!" And everyone would be happy, giggling and bouncing around the room. Then, "Move like the color black!" and everyone would be all grrrrr angry or walking around the room slowly, head down, depressed. When the color red was announced, all hell broke loose and most of my classmates hit the floor acting as if they were bleeding to death or someone just poked their eyeballs out. But I associated the color red with something much more pleasant - LOVE - and I gave out hugs around the room, to those who weren't busy hemorrhaging. I love wearing red, it's such a bright, bold and attention-grabbing color don't you think? Even a red lip stands out. But what I love most is that ANYONE can rock the color red. Try it!
