There's a Story Behind Every Picture

And it's Monday. Where did the weekend go?? Why does the week go by so slowly and the weekends are over in a flash? It's just not fair! Annnnnyways, this behind-the-scenes pic was snapped by my lovely friend Vickie during a fun photo shoot with talented photographer Aaron Pederson on Saturday. The pictures are for a personal project of his involving Edmonton's Fashion Bloggers for Western Canada Fashion Week which starts in 10 days! I'll show you the finished photos as soon as they're posted!

I also wanted to show you my new T by Alexander Wang maxi dress that I wore to the shoot. There's a story behind it actually: I spotted it at Gravity Pope Tailored Goods a few months ago, tried it on and fell in love with the soft fabric, the smooth shape and the extremely comfortable fit. It was $200.00 though and I couldn't justify spending that much on a dress, even though it was Alexander Wang. Fast forward about three and a half months later and I spot it at Gravity Pope's Penny Sale for $100.00 off. Not only that but I also walked out with a navy Paul Smith tank that only cost me a penny! Score! I love sales.

Have a great week!
