I was going to go see her new movie, 'Friends With Benefits' this weekend but then I realized I saw it a few months ago except it had a completely different title: 'No Strings Attached' and she looked a lot like Natalie Portman! ; ) I'm wondering why Hollywood let this happen? Two movies about the same thing and both released within six months of each other? Don't these industry types talk to one another?? So I decided I'm going to see "Crazy, Stupid Love" with Steve Carrell and Ryan Gosling instead. Hilarity and Hotness combined.
Annnnyways, I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! I took today off so I get an extra long weekend that I'm really looking forward to. I have a wedding to attend tomorrow and the rest of the weekend I'll be bumming around and probably eating a lot of ice cream if the weather is hot. Did I tell you Dairy Queen is within walking distance of my house? Trouble I tell ya.

I kind of hope Friends with Benefits is good because No Strings Attached was terrible and I have a big girl crush on Mila Kunis...I also hope No Strings Attached is okay because I sort of want to see it. You'll have to let me know what you think!

SO ridiculous that it's basically the same movie. But I love Mila Kunis so I'll watch this when it comes out on DVD.

I love Mila-Especially after Black Swan. I agree with you Marie, you think they would talk and say-hey these movies are kinda EXACTLY the same, maybe we need a new concept!!!

I love Mila, she's gorgeous! And yes, I saw No Strings Attached, it was okay, no desire to see this new one ... This happens all the time in the industry! I don't get it ... You have a Dairy Queen thats walking distance??! I'm jealous!

ReplyDeleteI made mistake of renting No Strings Attached one night, worst movie EVER. But, I did go see Friends with Benefits and it was sexy and funny, the plot is going to win any awards but entertaining at the least! Gotta see the new Ryan Gosling film, he makes my heart pitter patter! x

honestly, i don't know why they even made another movie that has the exact same plot as a movie released earlier this year... like, really?! i think i'm just gonna wait for friends with benefits to come out on dvd. i just got no strings attached on dvd. ;)

I honestly thought that FWB would suck because it would just be a clone of No Strings Attached, but it besides the general big picture of both movies, it was REALLY different! and surprisingly hilarious and even better than no strings attached. And I <3ed no strings attached when it came out!! but idk, maybe thats just me :) now i compare every movie i see to the comedic level of FWB.....to me it was that good!!

well, i DID go see it today, altho i had seen the other movie too. it was different in ways tho, and worth seeing. mila is soooo cute! for looking at her alone it's worth it!

ReplyDeleteI've seen both films + in my opinion Friends with benefits was the better one, Although they had the same plot it was completly different! + I lovee Mila Kunis!! I also find it quite funny that Mila + Natalie Portman were in Black Swan and they've both gone on to do these films x
