Partying like it's 1999 and a Giveaway Winner!

On Saturday night a bunch of us went to Moriarty's Wine Bar downtown to celebrate my best friend Kristin's Birthday. We decided to get all dolled up. K. had her makeup done at MAC earlier in the day and I got my hair cut and highlighted.

I hadn't been to the salon in four months! My ends were fried! My hair feels so much healthier now.

I wanted to create a dramatic look with my eyes so I used Lancome's Color Design Sensational Effects Eye Shadow Quad in Drape, Style Section, Grey Sparkle and The New Black which I received as part of my gift with purchase during The Bay's Lancome Bonus. I added some falsies, too. If you want to know what other products I used on my face just ask in the comment section and I'll be happy to answer!

 

I wore this dress I bought a couple of years ago from H & M. The shoes are from Zara, the bow ring from RW & Co. and the necklace and bracelet from H & M  as well. D. took this pic of me in his Man Cave (our basement) so the lighting is quite bad. I can't wait to be able to take pics outside once the weather gets better and there's less chance of me slipping on ice and falling on my ass.

We all had such a fun night! After the wine bar Kristin wanted to dance so we headed to a club a couple of blocks away. Now you have to understand none of us had been to a club in a looong time, like I'm talking years but we partied with the eighteen year olds and threw it down on the dance floor. We re-lived our youth for a couple of hours, downed some shots like in the good old days and then called it a night around 1:30 a.m. (Except for my friends who took a cab and decided to stop at the 24 hour McDonald's drive through on the way home and buy themselves and the cab driver some greasy food like we used to do when we were in University and college.) Ah, memories!
