Here's some fashion inspiration to start your week. I hope you all had a good weekend. I didn't have a very good one to be honest with you. My best friend's very close friend, whom I knew and was friendly with as well, took her life on Saturday. I've been trying to make sense of it all....It's been a shocking and rough couple of days and it's extremely hard being away from my friend (who lives in a different city) during such a difficult time. I just wish I could be there for her in person to give her a huge hug you know? I wouldn't normally mention something so personal on my blog but I needed to get this out. Life isn't always cheery and fabulous so I shouldn't pretend like it is. Thanks for listening.
love the layering and the fur. winter dressing is so much fun xxx

Oh Marie, I am so sorry to hear about your friend (or friend of a friend) passing. I hope you surround yourself with your loved ones to get through this. My thoughts are with you during this time, hope you get lots of great support in person as well.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these lovely images, they show the lovely things about the colder days, even though we've had it so easy thus far.
I hope you week gets drastically better.
Oh Marie I'm so sorry. I'm afraid it will be tough to find the sense you're searching for...people with that level of depression just aren't thinking the same way you & I are. I wish you peace and I hope your close friend, who is also grieving, finds some as well. xo
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, i am so sorry to hear that! that has to be one of the most difficult things to face and make sense of. :/
