Straight

jacket + necklace - Zara, pants + bracelet + ring - H & M, shirt - Guess, clutch - Top Shop, shoes - Aldo

This jacket puts me in a Spring kind of mood, even though we still have snow on the ground which is crazy but I won't vent about that here, I'll keep my disgust for the weather in my little head until it snows again this month, WATCH OUT. I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend! Mine was full of lots of good things - hanging out with my BFF who was visiting from Vancouver, seeing family, eating lots of yummy food, sleeping in (I LOVE my sleep!) and one "bad" - seeing the movie 'Spring Breakers' (what the hell was that?!) so overall it was a pretty good weekend I'd say.

P.S. I'm trying to grow out my hair and it's taking a really long time! Any interesting tips to make it grow faster?

  1. I love your coat! It's the perfect transitional piece - I'm seriously lacking something like this right now, I feel like I only have bulky winter coats or spring coats that are still much too light! Fingers crossed you don't get an April snowstorm... ugh! The worst!

  2. I love everything about this (and it's got me wondering if I can pull off a printed pant)! Sorry, I've got zero advice on growing out hair - whenever I try it it's always a disaster that ends with me chopping mine off.

  5. I had read this before, and can attest to it now (at least, for ME) - taking prenatal vitamins has made my hair grow MUCH faster and made it less limp as well. I know this isn't a universal truth, but I am a believer!

Understandably, you may not want to take 'prenatal' vitamins - loooots of questions there, haha. Increase your folic acid and Omaga3s as an alternative?

  6. I am loving this coat!!! It is such a lovely colour on you, and definitely perfect for spring. Sounds like an awesome weekend :)
Prenatal vitamins help make it stronger as well as grow faster.

  8. Love that jacket! Oh, and I have a major hate-on for the snow right now. Did you hear that we're supposed to get MORE in the next few days?!
PS. I am also trying to grow my hair out (although mine is a lot shorter than yours)...I asked my hairstylist the same question and her response was "don't cut it!" I am also taking a biotin supplement every day (it's supposed to help with healthy hair, skin, and nails) and using a good hair mask once a week. Keep those ends in tip top shape so you can avoid frequent trims. Oh, and patience! :)

  11. Love that coat, Marie! And I've heard Springbreakers was awful... too bad! Wish I had some tips on how to grow out your hair faster... mine grows fairly slowly. It does help to get regular tiny trims during the growing out process to at least keep it from getting unruly though!
