I received these gorgeous Camel Mid Buckle Boots from Sway Chic (that retail for only $38.00 U.S.!) a couple of weeks ago and cannot stop wearing them! I love the cris-crossed, layered buckles. Here I paired them with some warm socks from American Apparel to keep my toes toasty in the snow, which we have lots of, as you can see. And because of the ice underneath it, I prefer not to wear a high heel in the winter time because I'm scared of slipping and falling on my arse. And I'm such a klutz that it would totally happen. Probably more than once. So these boots are perfect!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I had a couple of Christmas parties to attend but I didn't stay late, I was so tired for some reason. It's funny, D. and I don't have kids yet but we tend to leave parties earlier than our friends that do have kids and have to get up with them at 6:30 the next morning! Just call us Grandma and Grandpa ; ).

Those are some sweet boots, and your jacket is perfect for the weather this time of year. The beau and I are usually not ones for partying and have on occasion woken up our friends who have kids which never ceases to amaze us because aren't people with kids up at the crack of dawn? Ha ha!
