I'm Leaving

 I don't think she wants me to go

I haven't had a real vacation (as in more than three days out of town) since February 2010 so I'm overdue for a holiday. I am beyond excited to be going to Phoenix, Arizona Saturday for a week with D. and my family! In addition to all the shopping I'll be doing (and there will be LOTS of it because I hear Phoenix has some amazing outlet stores) I plan on doing some sightseeing, going to a national baseball game, relaxing by the pool and eating out at different restaurants. And did I say shopping???

I can't tell you how excited I am to see these! I love palm trees more than I love H & M.

Ok so I have a silly confession to make. Apparently, according to some religions, the world is going to end this Saturday at 6 p.m. because it's Judgment Day and at 6 o'clock I'll be in an airplane which kind of freaks me out! I don't really believe in this stuff and think it's ridiculous but I would be lying if I told you I haven't thought about it. But hopefully everyone will be fine and God will let us live a little longer...so I can make it to those outlet stores ; ).

I won't be blogging while I'm away because I don't think I'll have internet access but I have two scheduled posts for next week so check back soon! Have a great weekend! If we all make it through! Just kidding. Kinda.

    That stupid end of the world junk started with some fringe ministry in Connecticut - they then planted billboards all over the highway. Ugh. On a brighter note, have a fabulous and safe trip and take lots of time to relax...I can't wait to see all your purchases!!!

    not guna lie...i would be totally freaked out if my flight was the same time as this judgement day crap...i'd be praying for a delay haha. i remember flying to spain last year and the morning of my flight i kept seeing people who had died in aeroplane crashes...so like buddy holly came on the car radio...now how often does buddy holly ever come on the radio?! and an aaliyah video was on the music channel and i rationally thought they were signs and ended up having a massive panic attack in the middle of the check in line and sobbed pretty much the entire flight...i bet you don't feel silly now haha! but anyways ive rambled on long enough, hope you have a lovely holiday marie and look forward to seeing your purchases! :)

    I am jealous, I want to go on a holiday!! I've been to pheonix when I was young, around 14 years old. It was really fun and the outlet malls are all to die for (but don't actually die for them, haha)

    wow a whole week of vacation!! I've always wanted to go to Arizona, I've heard it is very pretty there.
    I keep hearing alot of crazy babble stuff about that too, I don't pay any attention to it >.<

    I want to reassure you that the world will NOT be ending this Sunday and that is Biblical truth my dear. Those nutburgers really need to knock it off.

    Now go enjoy every minute of your vacay!! Your kitty in the suitcase is so adorable - totally knows you're going, but I'm sure will get treats upon return :)

    Have the best time! Technically you won't be on the plane at 6pm because you'll probably be in a different time zone by then.

    YOU MUST, however, go to Nordstrom's Rack. It is the ultimate in high end discount shopping.

    i've seen those billboards too and all i think to myself is "nooo, that's the day before I leave for mexico" so I know how you feel ;) i'm pretty sure it won't be ending though just because some guy that (also wrongly predicted it in 1994) predicted it said so :)

    we're still alive :) judgement day on a plane probably would've meant you'd be one of the few survivors. haha! phoenix is great- have fun! i was just there a few months ago and had a blast!
