Bloggers Night Out

top, maxi skirt and jewelry - H & M   shoes - Spring   necklace - F21

What do you get when you take 17 local bloggers and cram them into a table at Moriarty's Bistro and Wine Bar on a Friday night? (Besides way too many flashes from cameras and invasion of personal space?) The answer is good eats, smooth drinks, great conversation and lots of laughs. This weekend was the first Edmonton Blogger Meet-Up organized by the lovely Kendall (thanks Kendall!) and it was a huge success! I had such a great time getting to know bloggers I hadn't met but felt I already knew through reading their blogs as well as reconnecting with the amazing people I met at Fashion Week. I am so lucky to be a part of such a supportive and friendly (not to mention LARGE!) blogging community. I can't wait for the next meet-up! I think we'll have to reserve the whole restaurant next time ; ).

The bloggers that attended were: Janis, Vickie, Andrew, Kendall, Kassandra, Jared, Jenna, Rowena and Stacy, Tanja, Shy, Mathew and Mark, Jessica, Natalie and Julianna. Unfortunately there were a couple of people I didn't get photos of : (. You should check out their blogs, they are all so unique and inspiring.

I hope you all had a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend!

  12. How fun! Sounds like it was a fabulous evening! Love your outfit, the maxi skirt is hot!!

P.S. Actually, no, I haven't had an Oprah spotting! You would think she would be more out & about but I've never once had a run in! I did literally almost run straight into Vince Vaughn a few weeks ago and Mia Michaels was near us at a bar once. It's pretty common to see various B-list stars like former Bachelors/Bachelorettes, etc. Right place right time I guess!

  19. Love your blog!
Fellow canadian girl here - saw you on Tiptoe Butterfly mentioning that we don't have Targets yet. Uggh. Thankfully we are getting them here, they are taking over some Zellers stores, BUT the prices won't be nearly as awesome as they are in the U.S. I make a direct line for Target the minute we go to the states!
