Yes, I'm dedicating the title of this post to my pants. Quite frankly they deserve it! They're the most comfortable pair of trousers I own, I can dress them up or down and they make my legs look longer. (Score!) Oh and did I mention they were only twenty bucks??? Oh how I love them so. I will never let them go.
Well friends, we're halfway through the week! Can you believe it's already November? I saw a Christmas commercial for the first time this year today. I was kinda shocked but not really.

Really love your hat! i heard a christmas song on the radio about 2 months back...think i had a mini heart attack haha! and our town centre has got up decorations already..ugh :)

ReplyDeleteKerri: I know, it's crazy! The grocery store is called 'Superstore' and they have a huge clothing section, the clothes are actually really nice and reasonably priced. The brand is called 'Joe Fresh' and they even have a make-up line!
ReplyDeleteYES to pants that elongate the legs! Especially when they come from Banana Republic ;) I saw that floppy hat a month ago when I went to a Joe Fresh event. It's super cute but it didn't look good on me (I have a big head!)

I study early modern English history and so writers and moralists from the period use the term "helpmeet" to refer to one's spouse. It's biblical ("it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him" -Genesis 2:18), although I use it because I'm a history geek not for the religious factor. Also I think it's a funny sounding word and I kind of love that.
